HYGIENE DURING RASPBERRY, BLACKBERRY AND PLUM HARVEST

Raspberry is a kind of fruit that is not washed in further stages of processing after the harvest.
Due to these facts, the druit is exposed to many kinds of risks, so for the product safety it is obligatory to take even more parameters into consideration. Inside the raspberry fruits, a new pathogen named Norovirus (also known as ’winter vomiting bug’) has been discovered. This kind of pathogen affects human health by causing stomach problems. During the seminars that we organize, the agricultural producers are informed about what causes this virus and how to prevent fruit contamination from this virus.

CURRENT YEAR RASPBERRY PROTECTION PROGRAM

The company’s expert service is up to date with all the ongoings on the target markets, and according to the new data the company creates a list of active allowed substances that may be used for raspberry protection and which are allowed on the market of Serbia, EU, and USA.
The integral raspberry protection is applied during the harvest. In order to preserve the fruits safety, it is not necessary to perform all the safety treatments, unless some specific phenophase levels during the plant growth require the opposite.
